Secure, Control, Centralise
Seiki AIR Jobpack DNC enables you to organise and administer production data and manufacturing information related to Parts and Operations in a secure, controlled and centralised way.
Seiki AIR Jobpack DNC enables you to organise and administer production data and manufacturing information related to Parts and Operations in a secure, controlled and centralised way.
Your production engineering team will create digital Jobpacks for each operation to deliver all production data and documentation paperlessly to the operator on the shopfloor. The data structure guarantees that any files or documents that have been attached to a part record are automatically available to all linked Jobpacks. This will reduce administration time and make changes faster and easier by updating multiple records simultaneously
Attach files such as CAD drawings, photos, job cards, tooling sheets, NC programs, etc to each Jobpack record. All the information the operator needs to complete the job on a specific resource.
Simple administration tools will allow you to manage and view file version history, compare NC programs side-by-side, and add comments.
The facility to up-issue part records will make it faster and easier to administer multiple Jobpacks simultaneously and ensure only the latest revision is accessible on the shopfloor.
If you are running the system as a standalone module, to help get you started, we can carry out a customised one-off import of your existing parts, operations, and folders and files to automatically generate digital Jobpacks. The system can also be interfaced to the Seiki Scheduler, to dynamically update part and operation records.
A Jobpack’s status, in conjunction with shopfloor user permissions, controls access and use of unproven files and programs by operators on the shopfloor. Audit trails allow you to track machine actions, file transfers and changes made to a Jobpack.
On the shopfloor we’ve made it even easier for operators to find files and programs. Each resource displays a list of released Jobpacks that are available for selection. Critically, this ensures only approved programs are sent to the correct machine by users with the appropriate resource and file access permissions.
Upon receiving a returned program, a Jobpack’s status is automatically changed to prevent subsequent unauthorised use of unproven programs by operators without the required permissions. It is then the responsibility of Engineering users to change the Jobpack status to proven to release it without restrictions.
